The rainbow 6s the siege beta error cod is a bug in the OpenGL ES 2.0 drivers for Intel GPUs. This bug causes the screen to appear as a single, blurry green dot. If you see this on your screen, it means that the OpenGL ES 2.0 driver for your GPU has a bug, and you should file a bug report.
This bug is harmless, but it’s still annoying. You should file a bug report about it so we can fix it. Once we have an idea of why it’s happening, we’ll add a warning message to the OpenGL ES 2.0 driver for Intel GPUs.
It’s difficult to get a bug fix for a driver that isn’t open-source (you can also get an open-source version of the driver for free if you want). And while the issue is harmless, it can make an OpenGL game look less smooth. That’s why we call developers with the problem a ‘bug reporter’ because they are probably doing the best they can to fix the problem.
It was reported to us last week that the OpenGL ES 2.0 driver is not working in a new Intel GPU that we had for our test rig. The issue is probably due to a bug that is not open-source. Hopefully, if we can find a way to fix it and get it working in the 2.0 driver, that should be the fix. If not, that means there is a known bug in the driver and that it isnt going to be fixed.
