I was recently asked how I learned Spanish and my reply was, “by watching someone else.” I think this is a great thing to be able to share with other people, especially those who don’t speak the language as well as I do. It just helps to have someone else speak the language so we can understand each other.
There is a nice little blog called “The Life of a Spanish Urmator” by Joaquin C. Zajac ( that has a lot of information about Spanish. It’s a fascinating blog, a fun to start off, but you can also go to the official Spanish website of the Spanish National Academy of Sciences.
The Life of a Spanish Urmator is a great resource for learning more about Spanish, but it just gets better as you go. It has plenty of information about different dialects and different regions of Spain, the history of the Spanish language, and it will also translate that content for you. It’s a fun blog to start, but very useful to be able to read, and I know that I learn more about the Spanish language from reading it.
