I’ve been to the OkCupid site, and I will be honest, I am not a fan of the concept. I have also been to a few of the websites dedicated to finding the most beautiful women in the world, but I was never interested in their “self-awareness” philosophy. In my opinion, this philosophy is a bit of a turn-off.
I agree with you. There is a certain amount of self-awareness that turns up when it comes to self-promotion, self-worth, and self-awareness. I, personally, don’t see any problem with it at all. If I see a beautiful woman with great hair and a sexy body, I’m more likely to go and check them out, rather than trying to find that perfect match on a dating site.
Self-awareness is a good thing, but it is important to understand that the concept of a self-aware person cannot be applied to anyone other than ourselves. We are all unique, and we have unique experiences and opinions. That being said, Im interested in your point about self-promotion. Even if a person is aware of their own appearance, they still have to promote themselves.
As much as social media has made it a lot easier to find others with similar interests (and in some cases, lifestyles) on our own sites, most of these sites are geared towards finding others with similar interests to ourselves. So we must still promote ourselves, but it’s a less intrusive and, if I’m being completely honest, possibly even more effective way.
Now that I’ve watched this trailer, I think I’m more confident in my own appearance. Now I look like a guy who could probably get a job interview.
Personally, I have always been uncomfortable about my clothing choices, so this is especially strange to me. But Im glad its been proven to work because if I had to choose between the two, I would probably turn down the shirt in the trailer.
Its true. As a result, many people avoid these situations altogether, but the result is that we become that much more self-aware as individuals. It’s a step towards self-awareness, and that’s a very good thing.
When I first heard about this trailer, I thought of it as a “weird” trailer. It was really a pretty good trailer that it was being played by the guys at VDCD. Its the one we’ve been watching.
We watched a trailer about a week ago that we thought was a pretty good trailer. Thats when it became apparent that this trailer wasn’t going to be a trailer people were going to want to watch. The trailer was full of guns, crazy powers, and cool outfits. The first thing you should know about VDCD is that they are just a bunch of very nice guys. What makes them special is that they have an actual job to do.
