What’s something that you’ve learned from working in the car parts industry?

I used to work for a company where we only had one set of tools and everyone who needed them would have to borrow them which meant waiting their turn before getting access. But this is not an issue now because I managed my own tool inventory so it’s always just me using these same instruments. And if I’m working on a job site with our field crew then there are still plenty of other tools available without having to carry as many supplies back and forth myself. This has made my jobs faster and more efficient-plus less stressful!

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?

My father always told me that “no matter what, there is a solution.” He was so right. I can’t tell you how many times this has come in handy and helped put my mind at ease with any big decision or problem. It doesn’t mean it’ll be easy to solve, but if there is no way forward then it won’t generate an answer anyway. So go ahead-figure out your next steps! Or just ask for help when needed and know that whatever happens there will be something good waiting on the other side of all those challenges. And remember: nobody said life would be simple or without pain-but it IS worth living!

One thing I wish I knew earlier in life is that there’s always a way to solve any problem and find happiness. No matter what, there is a solution. Ask for help when needed. Know that the journey will not be without pain but it IS worth living!
