The most common term used to describe how people feel and think is “unperturbed.” It can sometimes refer to how someone feels when they realize they’ve been talking to a complete stranger. This is true for a lot of people but for me, it’s a very special feeling. The fact that I know exactly what I’m doing when I’m having this conversation means it means I’m in control of my emotions.
To a lot of people this feeling is like a really bad hangover. You see, for me, it is the very same thing. If I want to be unperturbed, I have to be really sure Im OK. This is why I think the word unperturbed isn’t an appropriate term for describing how we feel about things.
I think the word unperturbed is appropriate because, unlike the hangover, our emotions are not tied to our identity. Im not in control of them either, so they are not tied to our identity. They are just reactions, in general, to what we have been exposed to in our lives.
This is a very good point. I think the word unperturbed is fine, but I think it needs something more to describe how we feel about things. I don’t know. Im going to go with unbothered.
I don’t know what the word unbothered means. The word is not a great place to start, but there is a place where it can be used on a level that is not normally understood.
Unperturbed isn’t used in a very general sense. The word unbothered is used only once in the story trailer, to describe the way some people react to something. But it is a good place to start, because it is a general term for the feeling of not having the right to control your own actions. It is the feeling of being not under our own direct control, like a child.
The concept of unbothered is a very broad one. It doesn’t have to be used in a negative sense. Many of us have had the experience of feeling as though we were under our own control when we have been simply not, or not completely. This can be a lot of fun, so if you do feel that this is a place to begin, try and learn to feel it.

If you are feeling any of the “unbothered” feelings, try this simple exercise to get to your center. Sit in a comfortable position with your eyes closed. Then take a few deep breaths. The more you breathe in as you settle, the less centered you feel. Just relax and feel that shift in your body.
In Deathloop, we were taught to use the same strategy with all of them. We’re going to take a few deep breaths as we sit. Take a few moments to fully open your eyes. Then go back to watching the movie “Fantastique.” You are now standing in front of Colt, shooting a gun so he can shoot you. That’s how you get to your center.
The game is very simple. If you’re standing still, you will not be killed. Unless you’re standing still, and your hands are empty. If you’re standing still, and you don’t have your hands empty, you will be killed. Your goal in Deathloop is to use the gun and kill the Visionary, not to use your feet.
