If you need to send out an email and the recipient is using Windows Live Mail, then you probably need to send out the email again, but you can’t because the email address is already in the recipient’s email address book.
The reason is because the recipient has access to the recipient’s email address book, and their email address book is stored in email storage. So the only way you can get the email to go out is to add the email address to the recipients address book. It’s a bit of a pain, but it doesn’t seem to bother anyone else.
The problem is when the email address has been sent out, it doesn’t seem to matter if it’s not in the recipients mail address book or not. In the case of the email address, that may also be a problem! However the recipient has the ability to send the email address to any recipient.
The issue is that the email address book was not part of the email storage system. So when the email address is sent out it doesnt matter if the recipient doesnt have access to the email account or not. Although its possible, I suspect that the email address book is saved to disk somewhere else.
The best way to avoid this issue is to get a copy of the email address out of the mailbox. You can just call a service that provides the address to the service or use their mail utility. It could be a local mailer, or it could be a service that will send out a message to the recipients email address and let them know that they are from the service.
For the most part, this problem is really only seen in Gmail’s new email client. It’s not present in any of the default email clients installed on Macs.
I’m going to try and avoid this issue by deleting a couple of our site emails. It’s an excellent way to do this, because it’s not like Google sends a lot of search results for each mail sent to you and has a pretty slow time. But I’d like to see this done in the future.
We recently had a couple of our site’s emails rejected for the lack of the @site name. Its a common problem that can happen when using a mailing list. We only use our site as a way to promote and share our content, so we don’t want to risk having people ignore us.
A good way to help this problem is to let Google know what you’re doing. In the future, we may have to create a new mailing list. A list about 5,000 emails will probably be sent a day after the first one to your site. Then we would have to look up your site by date.
