A simple salad, a light lunch, and a quick cup of coffee. That’s all you need to get started, and then some fruit in between.
There’s something to be said about the convenience of a quick salad and a quick cup of coffee. Sure, you can eat whatever you want on the go, but you also don’t have to stop and eat while driving.
Maybe its our society’s obsession with quickness that’s making us so quick-paced, but I think it’s the same thing driving many people to drink too much coffee. We’re too excited to eat or drink anything that takes longer than a few minutes. We’re rushing through our day, and we’re looking for anything that takes even a few seconds.
For many, the problem with eating and drinking too much coffee is that it’s just too much fun. The coffee itself, if you like, is like a game. But it doesn’t have to be. The benefits are many. Eating and drinking a lot of coffee can help you feel more alert, and it can help you avoid overeating your lunch break.
But, yes, I hate to admit it. I know I probably should have a nap before I walk off the couch and wake up exhausted and tired. But if I could just stay awake longer, I would do well to try to eat more coffee at least.
This is a pretty common problem for recovering addicts. It’s hard to stay awake when you’re constantly getting up to pee and getting back down to sleep. And it’s often too late to take a nap. But as long as you’re doing it right and taking in lots of energy (and coffee), you can still get through just fine.
The fact is that most addicts are like that. They tend to be more alert and less nervous when they get up for work. That just goes to show you how nervous they are. Its great to know you’re getting a lot of sleep when you aren’t getting much of anything.
In the past, I’ve read many articles comparing addiction to drug abuse. I believe that this is one of the reasons. Most substance abusers don’t have a problem with getting high. Instead, they tend to be more alert and less nervous when they get up. That just goes to show you how nervous they are.
Some people love to take naps. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone that loved napping more. I think thats why people like to sleep over, too.
Ive heard that the only drugs we have for the addiction problem are heroin and opiates.
