The current trend of “gated communities” in the suburbs has been nothing but positive for the average homeowner. With these communities, homeowners only need to worry about their mortgage payments and taxes to enjoy the perks of living in a home they own.
While it’s nice to have that peace of mind, it doesn’t go nearly far enough for some homeowners. In fact, the idea of having a gated community is one of the most infuriating things I’ve ever had to hear about. I don’t mean this literally, you know, it’s true. It is infuriating.
As an owner of a gated community, I find this very frustrating. Most gated communities are built to create a feeling of security. In fact, if youre ever in a situation in which you are the only person allowed on your property, you can imagine this feeling of security being pretty appealing. You may be able to lock your doors and windows and have the neighbors talk to you.

The person who has locked it behind you would then have the same advantage as the owner of the gated community and be able to control the gate.

Some people can be pretty clever when it comes to building their own homes, but many of the projects they’ve done in recent years have been to get their own homes. Just like the “big houses” we just discussed are so complicated and difficult to build, when building a home you can find a way around the difficulty of building them.
Sure, you could build a big house yourself, but you can also simply make a small “house” out of a small space.
