That’s a lot of steps. But it all makes sense. Now that we’ve got the numbers in order, we can start adding them. The first number is 6, and we want to add it to the second number, we want to get 3. Adding the values together gives us a 3, adding the values gives us a 5, then subtracting one gives us a 2, and subtracting two gives us a 1.
