Nippon Ichi Software has been in the industry for over 20 years, and it’s still going strong.
It all started with their very first game Disgaea, which was released on October 10th 2003. Since then they have made many more games that have become household names: Phantom Brave (2004), La Pucelle: Tactics (2005), Criminal Girls -Invite Only- (2008).
They are also one of the few developers to make a game for both Sony’s PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 platforms! With such an extensive history, it can be hard to keep up with what is new from Nippon Ichi Software.

On April 16th of 2018 their newest console game Disgaea Refine was released for PC, PlayStation®Vita [PS Vita], Nintendo Switch™ [NS] Xbox One™
It is an enhanced port of Disgaea and it includes all content from that game as well as new features like revamped graphics and controls. This means that if players want a more classic feel then they will play Disgaea while those who enjoy newer visuals should stick with playing
